Check Handwriting From a Photo

Upload a photo of Latin handwriting. You get five impression scores, and a card you can share.

  • Photograph at least two full lines. Keep the page flat, and do not crop through the letters.
  • This is an impression from a photo, not a clinical assessment.
  • The photo is sent to the model and then discarded. It is not saved.
  • You can check 3 photos a day. It resets the next day.

Five scores from one photo

Legibility is the result: whether a reader can make out the words. Size, baseline, spacing, and slant are the reasons. The lowest of those four is the one to practice next. The score is an impression of a still photo. It does not measure speed, pressure, or stroke order, and it is not a clinical assessment. Chinese, Japanese, and Korean writing are not scored with this rubric.
